  18. Dies ist die Demo-Version des EZPagers V1.11.
  19.  
  20. Der EZPager ermöglicht es, auf einfache Weise Nachrichten vom Computer aus an
  21. verschiedene Funkempfänger (Pager, SMS-fähige Mobilfunk-Telefone oder Handys)
  22. zu verschicken.

  24. Die Rufaussetzung erfolgt dabei über eine Modem-Verbindung mit dem jeweiligen
  25. Zugang des Rufdienstanbieters, wird also über das Telefonnetz abgewickelt.
  26. Unabhängig vom jeweiligen Funkempfänger bzw. Rufdienstanbieter können die
  27. Nachrichten über eine einheitliche grafische Oberfläche komfortabel eingegeben,
  28. verwaltet und verschickt werden.

  55. This is the demo version of EZPager V1.11.
  56.  
  57. The EZPager lets you easily send paging messages from your computer to
  58. cellular radio paging devices, commonly called pagers, and cellular or mobile
  59. phones capable of receiving short messages (SMS).
  60.  
  61. EZPager uses a modem to connect to the different paging service providers and
  62. to deliver the paging messages using a standard phone line.
  63. The messages can be entered, managed and sent through a graphical user
  64. interface.
  65.  
  66. The enclosed version of the EZPager only supports the available german paging
  67. and SMS services right now and thus will probably be of no use to users from
  68. abroad at the moment.
  69.  
  70. But stay tuned! The upcomming versions will enable you to define your own
  71. local paging services.
  72. If your service provider uses the worldwide used Telocator Access Protocol
  73. (TAP) or the UCP protocol used within the European Radio Messaging System
  74. (ERMES), there is a fairly good chance that EZPager will work with that
  75. provider.

  77. Nevertheless, this version is localized with the english locale so you can
  78. look around a bit, and see by yourself what you can do with the EZPager.
  79. And, well, if you happen to know someone in Germany who uses one of the
  80. supported paging services - a lot of these services can be accessed from
  81. outside Germany (but watch your phone costs ;-).
